Victoria Harley
I was brought up in a creative and foodie household. I learnt to cook as soon as I could reach the kitchen worktop, well with the help of a stool.
I was seriously introduced to photography in my early teens. My simple point and shoot broke so I was issued with an Olympus OM1 and a roll of TriX and my addiction went from there. I went on to study photography at art school and after graduating I began to slowly knit together my skills in the kitchen (honed through various weird and wonderful foodie jobs, including ice cream maker and cheesemonger) and my photographic training.
After many years practice and a lot of baking I now shoot food and interiors for national magazines including Country Homes and Interiors and The Simple Things. My work also features in recent books from Merrell Publishers and Jacquqi Small.
